Kinetics was honoured to receive recognition from Microsoft again in 2011 at the NZ Partner Awards. It reflects our determination to be the premier IT partner for small and medium businesses.  We continually look for ways to improve our service, giving clients the best overall experience, proactively and transparently.

Managing Director Andrew Hunt says " We're climbing a mountain to be the best.  This award is like reaching the top of a ridge, where we can pause briefly and enjoy the view, but we know there is further to go and more we can, and will do for our clients".

Kinetics has a history with this award and it means a lot ot us.  It's easy to say that, but when you're sitting the audience, waiting for the winner's name to be called, the anticipation turns to anxiety, and the value and importance of the award comes very much into focus. 

We've won it previously in 2010, 2008, 2007 and were a finalist in 2009.  We also won a similar award from Microsoft in 2005 when they first ran NZ partner awards.  Back in 2008, we were the first ever NZ finalist in this category in the Microsoft Worldwide Awards.

In 2011, we were also finalists for Online Services Partner of the Year, reflecting our work with Microsoft Cloud Solutions, and most excitedly, we were finalists for Training Partner for the Year - the first time a non-classroom training based provider has enjoyed this recognition.   It highlights the success that our Computer Coaching business is having, helping business to get the most from their Microsoft investment with zero downtime.

The 2011 award was particularly existing, reflecting our innovative solution for Hampton Jones that helped them win and execute a significant contract under very tight time and budget constraints.  It helped them grow their business and create an exciting new capability for further success.  Kinetics was in fact a finalist in the Small Business category twice, with our solution for Stephenson and Turner also getting recognition.

This award is a huge achievement for us.  We pursue excellence, and we really value the recognition. 

We're very proud to this success, and we're also very proud that many of our partners around the country, particularly Quay Corporate, are also successful.  Too many businesses are satisfied with the being average - we're not, our partners aren't, and our clients certainly aren't.  We all strive to set the standard, not to follow it!
