For Windows Mobile users, it’s pretty obvious that your Outlook ‘contacts’ from your PC magically appear in your PDA. Their phone numbers and their email addresses are all there ready to use.  But did you know that you also have your company address book on your PDA as well?  That’s not quite as obvious.  Here’s how to find it

(These notes are from Windows Mobile 6.1.  Other versions may be slightly different)

1.    From ‘contacts’ program, on the ‘menu’ button, chose ‘Company Directory’.

2.    From the email screen, click on ‘To:’ or click ‘menu’ then ‘add recipient’  This opens the contact list, and again, the Company Directory is then available as a menu choice

 In all cases, you need to type in some of the name, then hit ‘Search’.  This does rely on your PDA being connected to Exchange 2003 or greater, with current service packs.
