"Office Genuine Advantage" is an anitpiracy device.  It is a tool deisgned to check if your computer is running a genuine version of Windows.  If it pops up an says that it's not genuine, give us a call immediately, and we'll help you straighten things out.

Is it an advantage? Well, every bit of software that runs on your PC will slow it down a bit, inevitably.  But anything that means that software that you buy in good faith is fact genuine has to be a good thing.  Software piracy is essentially theft of intellectual property.  If we are to have a high value economy, it will be in large due to developing intellectual property.  That means we must respect it and support those who's innovatations contribute value in the 21st century.
