If you use Outlook as your e-mail program and Word for your word-processing projects, be aware that the two programs communicate with each other.
- When you set a theme, font or signature in the E-mail Options dialogue box in Word, those same elements will be set in Outlook.
- If you modify any settings on the Mail Format tab of the Options dialog box in Outlook, those settings will be changed in Word and affect your Word documents.
We recommend your company applies a standard format so your written communication has a uniform appearance.
