Newer, better clouds!

We've helped a number of our clients move it to the "cloud", where it's been the right option.  Of course, new versions are coming along and in the case of Microsoft, we're all getting ready for "Office365".  What we have seen so far is very encouraging and we're looking forward to it touching down soon!  Those clients using BPOS (Business Productivity Online Suite aka Microsoft Online Services) will get a free upgrade to the new Office 365 product. 

In preparation, Microsoft are enforncing new password policies.  Kinetics recommends that BPOS customers change their password to the new format as soon as possible.   

• Password must be between 8 and 16 characters long
• Password characters are restricted “Unicode” characters.  If you stick to numbers and letters you are OK.
• The new password requirements will start on 6^th May 2011.  
• You can change your password before the 6^th by using the “Sign In” application or the “My Company Portal”

Changing Your password

• In the Sign In application, click the Options tab.
• On the Options page, in the Sign In Preferences section, click Change password.
• On the Change Password page, type your old password and your new password in the appropriate boxes
