Security Seminar

What does it mean to keep your internet connection safe?

Kinetics invites you to a security seminar, Thursday 26 March from 4.30pm (Beer & Pizza format)

How do you balance your business needs for the internet against your user's desire to spend time on Trademe, Facebook, Twitter and so forth?

As the internet grows ever more important to your business, your need also grows to measure and monitor activity.  In some instances, there may even be a legal obligation to do so.  What we do know is that hours of productivity can be lost as staff peruse various web blogs, auction sites, and social networking services.  Each workplace will have a different view on this.  Whether it should be monitored but allowed, allowed only at certain times or for certain people, or totally disallowed?  The question is "what is an effective way of doing this?' and that's the purpose of our seminar.

Likewise what email is flowing in and out of your business?  While we are all very concious of the need to filter out viruses and SPAM, some businesses need to go further.  They want to apply rules to better manage the influx of email.  They may want to apply common business signatures and disclaimers, and most of all, they may want to build a record of what's coming and going.

The good news is that the 8e6Marshall products do a great job of these.  Many of our clients run these systems, so the seminar we are running will help learn what's new in the latest versions of the products, and for those that have yet to learn about Marshall, we'll introduce them to you.

Please RSVP by emailing support@kinetics.co.nz or calling us on 3798200.
