If you are a longtime Telecom XTRA customer, and you haven'thad to change your connection in quite some time, then the chances are that your computers may be using some older DNS Servers. DNS Servers are important internet services : they convert the friendly mnemonics into the mysterious four-part digits (eg www.kinetics.co.nz get turned into 125.236.62.149)
If you use Telecom, and are geting patchy connections to websites or email, it'll pay to check your DNS. Or get us to help. For the record, the correct DNS settings are :
New Primary: 202.27.158.40 (shelob.xtra.co.nz) New Secondary: 202.27.156.72 (ungoliant.xtra.co.nz)
