Modern Apple Macs run an operating system called Max OSX. It's been around for several years, with different versions like 'Jaguar' and 'Snow Leopard'. Macs are pretty popular. A number of our clients have them, especially for graphic work, but still PCs are the mainstream.
But, nevertheless, it's a real surprise to learn that there are already more Windows 7 machines than Mac OSX ones - that's after just one month in the market. It's astonishing. But true - according to Computerworld : http://www.computerworld.com/s/article/9141424/Windows_7_passes_Mac_OS_X_in_market_share_race?taxonomyId=89
Certainly, we are seeing a strong uptake, and we've got a number of projects to move clients entirely to Windows 7 - in fact we haev one project underway now, and another about to start. It's a move that makes sense. We've made the same change at Kinetics, moving everyone to Windows 7, and it's somethign we've posted on before, including this simple summary : http://www.kinetics.co.nz/newssite/Pages/Windows7-Whatcanyoulookforwardto.aspx
