When you DON’T buy some thing on TradeMe

Its hard not to be impressed by this beauty of a phishing mail – but DON’T BE FOOLED!

The item link goes to a genuine item on TradeMe, but when you look closely

  1. The email came from┬ámailer@traderme.co.nz – that’s right… traderme (not trademe)
  2. If you hover the mouse over the link for cancelling the transaction, you’ll see it actually links to http:.//tr4deme.from-vt.com – whatever that is.

It shows the imagination of these phishermen!

If you haven’t done a phishing test for a while, we’d be keen to help you!
